What is the deal with ledge fishing? You hear all the pros talk about it, you see big bass getting caught in videos, but what are they doing in the middle of the lake?! Are there ledges in your lake? Traditional "ledge fishing" takes place on the TVA chain of lakes all Summer long. The "ledges" are the sides of the river channel in the middle of the lake with current running past. Now, you may not live on the TVA (Chickamauga, Guntersville, Pickwick, Kentucky Lake, etc...) but if your lake has ANY summer time current or even if it has long tapering points or offshore creek channel bends with no current, your fish will behave in similar ways and "ledge fishing" baits will work for you.
