How To Catch Fish On Holiday Weekends

Headed to the lake this weekend? Its going to be crazy!!! Tim and Matt explain exactly what you need to successfully catch fish despite the 4th of July boat traffic. These tips work all Summer long and will save you a lot of headaches on the water.

The trick to fishing busy weekends and holidays is to use the boats to your advantage. The boats are here to stay and so are the wakes so instead of getting upset, learn to catch fish around them. Mudlines are a Summer bass' favorite hide out and boat traffic just amplifies the pattern. Fish mudlines this holiday weekend and you're sure to catch fish. Happy Independence Day!!

What do we use to catch these fish? Simple, Tim's approach is to downsize and finesse fish to coax the fish into biting while Matt prefers to fish topwater and reaction baits for aggressive fish that are feeding in the mudlines.
