Deep Crankbait Tips For Summer Bass Fishing!
The crankbait bite is already starting! Get ahead of the bite this year instead of being the guy playing catch up! Every year the transition from post spawn to full summer pattern happens in the blink of an eye. One minute we're talking about bed fishing, the next its all ledge fishing, crankbaits, and topwater.
Deep cranking is one of the best ways to consistently load the boat with bass during the Summer months. The bite will start now and typically run all the way into September or October depending on the lake. The key to consistently catching bass on deep cranks is to adapt size and color of the baits to changing conditions.
