Ledge fishing used to be all about heavy line and big baits. To some extent, it still is. But there is definitely a time for the spinning rod as well! Tricks For Targeting Offshore Bass In Early Summer!

We're about to catch a GIANT Bass while fishing offshore! After the spawn a lot of bass move to offshore structures for the Summer. Targeting these fish can be overwhelming if you've never seen how to do it. We're here to teach you how they position, why they're there, and what to use to catch them. It may be difficult to fish without the visual cues at first, but we'll show you how to do it!

Many anglers prefer the comfort of fishing near shore. And while we don't blame them, we highly recommend you spend a little time away from the bank this year. There are a lot of giant bass to be caught, and you can do it with several very simple lures and presentations. Today Matt catches the majority of his fish on a shakey head worm, but the GIANT commits to the wobble head creature bait. It's really common to catch your kicker for the day this way, and highlights why we use swinging jig heads for Summer bass!

Whether you're a bank fisherman with no electronics, a shallow water fisherman with minimal equipment, or an offshore angler with all the latest bells and whistles, these are the tricks we use to find fish! If you've wondered how guys "fish offshore" in the Summer, this is it!

Fishing away from the bank is all about understanding your electronics. Whether you have a basic 2D sonar unit or an advanced unit with side imaging, 360, live, etc... you can find and catch these fish. The more options you have, the less time required to find fish, but you can do this with the smallest screens and basic 2D sonar if you're patient.

Targeting BIG Bass In Offshore Grass! ( Topwater Bite Is On Fire 🔥)

Come along for some insane topwater fishing!! Matt dropped his aluminum boat into a new lake and is going exploring. It only takes a few minutes to locate fish hunting along offshore grass lines. Its been a long time since we've been on a wide open topwater bite like this!

Some days it feels like you make all the right decisions. From where the fish were positioning to the baits they were eating, this lake fit right into Matt's style of fishing.
