Spring Buyer's Guide: Worms, Creatures, Neds, Tubes, and Swimbaits!

In video #4 of our Spring Buyer's Guide Series we're talking soft baits for Bass! Stick baits, curly tail worms, Neds, creatures, tubes, swimbaits, and more! We took the main bait categories for Spring, then assembled our favorite baits for each. These are baits you can rely on the next time you hit the water. 

Walk into any tackle shop and there are walls and walls of soft plastics. With 1000s of soft baits on the market, its impossible to know where to start. From a distance its overwhelming but if we focus on each style of bait, we can easily narrow it down to a few key baits that catch the majority of the fish.

Spring Buyer's Guide: Budget Rods and Reels For Bass Fishing!

Welcome to the 1st Annual Spring Buyer's Guide Series! We're kicking this series off with budget-minded rods and reels for serious anglers. We scoured the fishing industry for the best rods and reels for different techniques, so you don't have to break the bank when you need a new combo. This is only the beginning! When it comes to budget gear, the rod actions allow for some wiggle room between techniques. As a result, we were able to narrow the search down to a handful of models to cover all the most popular Spring bass fishing techniques. We specifically searched for rods that would multi-task at least 2 major categories, then paired them with affordable reels that could take the abuse needed for the techniques.

Early Spring topwater? Is that really an option? Could it work in your lake? You better believe it!! Very few anglers throw topwater during the Spring transition but those that do often catch giant bass. Its an overlooked technique that you should consider throwing on warm afternoons. We're not suggesting it be your main approach, but when you're looking for a giant bite, it can't be ruled out.

2022 Gear Review - Shimano Expride B + New Crankbaits, Jerkbaits, and Creatures!

They're here!! Who's ready to check out the latest rods, swimbaits, hard baits, and soft baits to hit the market?! Its no secret that we're tackle addicts! We spend countless hours each week tracking down the newest gear from around the globe so we can put it through the paces! Some of it turns out to be junk, some of it is amazing and the best of the best make it into our gear review videos.

Today's video begins with the all new Shimano Expride B line of rods. We've been fanatical about Expride since the original series and have been blown away each time an updated version has come out. Shimano continues to advance the performance and sensitivity while still keeping the price affordable. 

From there we branch into a variety of new hard baits. From flash boosting jerkbaits to hard knocking crankbaits, there are some great new additions. On the softbait side, there are several downsized creatures to check out and just in time for the pre spawn, Mike Bucca has introduced a medium-sinking version of the Bacca Burrito.
