Amazing Underwater Footage of 10 Underspins and Swimbaits!!

Come underwater and see why bass eat Underspins in the Fall! We're comparing 10 different underspin and swimbait combinations to see which have the best action for different Fall bass fishing conditions. Whether you prefer a shad profile, bluegill, or small baitfish, we're looking at the best of the best in today's underwater video!

Bass ambush baitfish in the Fall and the underspin is one of the most consistent ways to catch them. A topwater may be more glamorous but a slow moving underspin on the bottom consistently catches giant bass that are unwilling to chase faster moving offerings. Choosing the right underspin for the lake or conditions can be a very difficult process to learn with a lot of wasted time and money. The purpose of today's video is to help you understand the differences between popular underspins and to see some of the "stand outs" that have that extra fish catching potential.

This video will be followed in a few weeks by an in-depth instructional video to teach you how to unlock the full potential of underspins. Sometimes they are best fished mid-column around baitfish or suspended bass. Other times they're best crept along rock bottoms or even through sparse grass in the shallows. We'll explain all of these different scenarios and more very soon but today's video was designed to help you select the baits with the most potential for where you fish.

Below is a complete breakdown of the baits shown in the video. The links are displayed in order of appearance and include the color shown, trailer used, as well as the sizes that we prefer for each offering. Additionally we will include rod and equipment recommendations for this fishing style.

Underwater Footage! Dropshot Worm Comparison - Which Would You Choose?

Which plastic worms look the Best? Let's head underwater and find out! We've rigged some of the most popular dropshot worms on a nose hook and put them to the test. How does your favorite worm stack up? Does it move the way you think it does and are you working it the way you should?

Underwater footage gives us a unique look at lure action. Every time we do this style video we discover baits work differently than expected. In this case we discovered that not all plastic worms are created equal. Some of these worms sink quickly while others drift to the bottom. Some works looked best with a subtle shake, others looked best with an aggressive hop.

Learning these nuances will make a huge difference in your daily fishing! As it turns out, we weren't using one of our favorite worms to its fullest potential. We need to begin working it with a more aggressive hop to get the best action. Also, we identified two more worms that are going to get fished a lot more often! What did you learn? Let us know in the comments.

Below is a breakdown of the worms used (In order of appearance) as well as some of our favorite dropshot gear recommendations. The worm colors shown in the video were selected for their high visibility. We will include actual color recommendations for each worm as well.

How Jigs and Trailers Actually Move - UNDERWATER FOOTAGE!!

We have 8 of the most popular jig trailers and we're comparing the actions underwater. If you've ever wondered how they actually move when they're underwater or why one trailer seems to work better than another, this video is for you! There is so much information for bass anglers to glean when we head underwater and simply watch how our lures respond to how we fish them. We've included "dead action" trailers, aggressively kicking baits, and curly tail grubs so we get a complete comparison.

Of course we can't include every trailer on the market but we've done our best to select the most popular offerings that represent the various styles of jig trailer most commonly used. Whether you're a finesse jig guy or you prefer a heavy flipping jig, we've got trailers that fit your style. Every time we do an underwater video we're amazed by the outcome.

When viewed below the surface a bait like a Sweet Beaver that appeared to have no action at all, proves to have an incredible craw profile with a unique left to right drift as it falls. A grub like the Yamamoto Double Tail proves that it has an undulating action at virtually any speed, and the Paca Craw (one of the original "action" chunks but overlooked by most anglers today) gets 10 stars for amazing action when swam along the bottom!

What the baits for yourself and judge the bait trailers for your fishing style. Some anglers prefer a muted action, others want an aggressive kick at all speeds. Regardless of your fishing style, there is a trailer here for you. Below is a breakdown of the trailers (in order of appearance), the jigs, as well as some jig rod recommendations for Summer fishing.
