Best Baits for Post Spawn Fish **UNDERWATER FOOTAGE**

Underwater Footage! Today we're headed back underwater to watch footage of bass in their natural environment. As we transition into the post-spawn and ultimately toward Summer we know that bass follow two behavioral patterns. The fish either head deep to the ledges and rock outcrops or they head shallow and burrow in to cover. Today we're going to focus on the behavior of the shallow bass.

As bass move into shallow cover they begin feeding heavily. Anglers can pursue them with a variety of methods but our favorites are topwater and heavy flipping. Today's video focuses heavily on topwater and gives us an incredibly unique underwater view of how bass line up and attack topwater baits from below.

There is an incredible amount of information to be learned by watching exactly how these bass feed. From how they stalk, to how far they're willing to move, to watch causes the "trigger" in their feeding response, you can become a much better angler just watching their reactions as baits pass overhead. We hope you enjoy the footage!

Below is a breakdown of the baits used in the video as well as a few extras that Tim really likes this time of year.

Which Senko Style Bait Is The Best? Crystal Clear Underwater Video!

Today we're taking 5 of the most popular stick baits and watching their action underwater. Each bait was wacky-rigged and Texas-rigged to give the most fair comparison of the actions. Have you ever wondered if a Senko is worth the price? Are they really different than the other options? Let's find out!

Tim selected 5 different baits with different materials and salt content. He also traveled to the clearest water he could find so we could see the smallest movements and subtle differences between baits. By rigging them the same way we get a fair comparison that you can trust as you decide which baits are the best for your fishing style and location.

Below is a breakdown of the baits, hooks, and gear used to make this video.

How Fish React To Different Lures **Underwater Bite Footage**

Let's head under water and look at how fish react to a worm, a swimbait, and a jig. Tim presents all 3 baits to a variety of bass and watches their reactions. Its amazing how differently each fish reacts . Some lash out immediately, others ignore one bait entirely and then come to life for the next. Take a look and then share your take aways with us at the end.

The biggest "tell" about how a bass will react to a bait is its dorsal fin. If that fin starts standing up or moving rapidly you know you've got a fish that's fired up for a bait. If you make a change and the dorsal settles, its time for another switch. Its always best to have a variety of baits tied on and ready so you can adapt quickly to each fish's temperament.

Some of our key baits for sight fishing (and fishing in general) are a dropshot worm, jig, small swimbait, and large swimbait. Below is a breakdown of the specific baits Tim is using in the video. Comment below and let us know what you learned from watching how these bass react.

Underwater Footage | Bass Eating Jerkbaits and Swimbaits

Spring is your best opportunity to catch a new personal best bass. The big fish are up shallow looking for food and getting ready to spawn. The key to consistently catching big fish is finding the baitfish. If you find the food, you'll find the biggest bass. In today's video we discuss the 7 baits that you should have ready to go for those big prespawn bass.

Underwater footage gives us amazing insights into the underwater world. Its amazing how fast these fish move, how aggressively bite and conversely, how quickly they lose interest. Watch closely so you can identify the "triggers" that caused these fish to feed.

Always ensure that you have a bladed bait (A-rig, spinnerbait, underspin), or flashy bait (Jerkbait, Fluke, Squarebill, Glide Bait) ready to go during the Spring. Keep an eye out for subtle swirls, shoreline cover moving, or flashes in the water to alert you to the presence of baitfish. Find the bait is more than half the battle.
