When it comes to chatterbaits there are 3 main considerations. You need to look at the quality of the hook, the quality of the snap, and the time it takes for the blade to start vibrating. With spinnerbaits, its about the quality of hook, type of skirt, and diameter of wire. Subtle differences in material have huge repercussions with these baits.

October is a great month in bass fishing! Fall bass fishing is in full swing and bass are feeding on shad and small baitfish. If you're not taking advantage of the Fall fishing you'll be singing the blues when Winter rolls around so get out there and catch those fish! If you're fishing in October and don't have a topwater tied on, you've already screwed up. Rule #1... Don't leave home without a walking topwater bait! There are some other great ways to catch fish as well but nothing is as exciting as topwater strike!
