Everyone wants to catch fish on topwater but not everyone knows how to do it. The baits in this video are all PROVEN fish catchers! Tie one on, head to the lake, and if there is a topwater bite going you'll load the boat!

From Whopper Ploppers to Buzzbaits to Poppers, these baits are proven producers that you can fish with confidence on your local waters.

Sprinker Modification: The key to success with the Sprinker Frog is an exposed hook. We found that by removing the stock hook and replacing it with a Gamakatsu Wide Gap 3/0 Frog Hook we got a much better hookup to land ratio. This is going to eliminate a lot of the "weedless" benefits of the frog but if you're running in open water around cover, your hookup ratio will double by using this hook.

What colors should you fish? We try to keep our swimbait colors extremely simple. If you're in trout/Kokanee lakes any of the trout colors will work, blue or green backs are both fine.
If you're in a baitfish lake we focus on the Charteuse Shad/Shad colors. The only exception is if you're on a bluegill fishery, the only color you need to throw is Bluegill.
