Jerkbaits Vs. Swimbaits : Which One Wins?

Matt hits the water with a jerkbait and a small swimbait for a quick evening session. The plan was to return to a school of active bass blowing up on baitfish but that quickly changed. Watch as Matt adapts to the changing conditions and puts together a pattern that produces BIG bites.

Learning to read the water and adapt to changing conditions takes time. Having a solid knowledge of the fishery is a huge bonus but a willingness to change on the fly and try new baits is all that's really required.

The jerkbait and swimbait are both proven producers throughout the Spring. When one is producing small bites the other will often produce larger fish. Don't be afraid to abandon your game plan when its not working and trying something completely different. You never know when you'll switch from catching little fish (or no fish) to having an awesome time on the water!

Explorer Glide Bait by Baitsanity - Swimbait Review

If you're a swimbait fisherman this video is for you! Its not very often we pick up a bait and start catching big bass right away. The Explorer Glide is one of those baits we "connected" with and we felt compelled to do this review and share our experiences with you.

Matt caught a 31 lb Striped Bass on his 3rd cast with this swimbait and that was only the beginning! Its a true swimbait at 9.5" in length and 5 ounces in total weight. It is offered in two colors (Trout and Carp) and we've been told there will be a variety of tail options available in the future.

You'll need a dedicated rod designed for this style of fishing to throw the bait effectively but if you're into throwing big baits, this is a bait you need to check out!

BIG Swimbaits vs. BIG Bass! Underwater Fishing Footage!

Giant Bass, Big Swimbaits, crystal clear water, EPIC FOOTAGE!! These fish are so aggressive they even hit the camera! We've captured a lot of underwater footage over the last few years but nothing like this! Watch these monsters come unglued on these big baits.

Its amazing to watch the interaction between these two bass. They seem to get super aggressive and calm back down, and in some instances calm each other down. Bait placement and movement seemed to be the key. Even movement that doesn't appeal to use seemed to trigger a feeding or defensive response in these fish.
