Summer jig fishing is a great way to catch big bass! In today's video Matt starts off by simplifying jig fishing for the angler that just wants to build confidence in the technique. Jig fishing is one of those techniques you can dive as deep into as you want. It can be as simple as a single jig in a great color that you use effectively throughout the year or it can be taken to a whole different level. It can also be taken to the max with different styles, colors, and retrieves. Swinging Jigs For Summer Bass! (All The Tricks To Catch More Fish)

This is our FAVORITE technique for catching BIG BASS in late Spring and early Summer. The Swing head jig has been forgotten by most anglers but it's still catching big fish for those that remember! This technique is easy to do, won't require new gear, and it will work on your lake. Its time to set your old Summer patterns aside and try something completely different!

The swinging jig is incredibly simple. All you do is pair the free swinging head with your favorite bait, let it hit bottom, and start a moderate retrieve. As you swim it along the bottom the bait will bump along, deflecting off cover, and drawing reaction strikes from the bass. While this technique can be done with swimbaits, worms, and creature baits, our best results have consistently come with creature baits.

When it comes to baits, there are endless options that can be rigged on these heads. However, we've found very specific baits that consistently get bigger bites. Flipping, Swim Jig And Frog! This NEW Lake Is Full Of GIANT Bass!

Come along for an amazing day of bass fishing!! We're targeting shallow fish around cover and we find a GIANT! It's not easy fishing in the heat, but when bass like these are willing to eat, it's worth it! From the jig to the frog, this day is going to be wild!

You never know what you'll face when you arrive at a new lake. Today we find ourselves in a maze of shallow cover that goes for miles and miles. In order to break it down quickly we decide to focus on the outside edges of shallow cover. The swim jig kicked us off, the flipping jig got the 9 lber, and the frog wrapped up the day with some fun!
