It doesn't take long to find out there are both Largemouth and Smallmouth in this lake, and things really take a turn when Matt figures out they'll eat the Magdraft Swimbait!

It's always a challenge to find fish in a new lake. Step one is to fish likely locations, step two is to build a pattern, step three is to repeat. On this day it doesn't take long to find some aggressive Smallmouth, but thankfully Matt and CC didn't settled there and kept hunting, because the story of this lake is quality largemouth!

RAW BASS FISHING! Serious Fish Catching And Finesse Fishing Knowledge!

Have you ever caught this many bass, this quickly?! Tim is headed out for an afternoon on the lake and he's bringing you along for the fun! It takes him no time to find some giant schools of aggressive bass and the catching ensues! Listen closely as he talks through his mindset, his approach, and the specifics of the baits he's using.

This day is all about finesse. Tim is focused on swimbaits, spy baits, hair jigs, and tubes, to keep the fish biting. Consistently cycling through baits is key to keeping the schools of fish active. They're on isolated areas in open water, specifically chunk rock and rock to sand transitions, so these fish would be easily overlooked by an angler who was simply fishing the bank.

Bass are aggressive this time of year in most lakes, but if you're having a hard time, it's probably time to downsize. From craws, to swimbaits, to worms, these are the tricks we rely on to keep catching fish!

We love to throw big baits for big fish but there is also a time to downsize. Small baits can catch BIG bass, especially as we head into Summer. If things get tough, we like to focus on small profile baits to show bass something they're not used to seeing. It's amazing how quickly you can turn a day on the water around by simply going to a smaller presentation!

Fishing The Post Spawn Transition: BFS To Topwater For Big Bass!

Come along for an amazing day on the water! The post spawn can be a difficult time for anglers to understand, especially when bass are lethargic.
