Custom Rods: Contact Curt via facebook or Instagram @Curtdemerathfishing for custom rods like you see in the video. He can do custom sizes, actions, etc. 

Matt And Tim both LOVE high end bass fishing gear but we know that not everyone can afford to use the best gear on the market. We spent years and years using low end bass fishing rods and have slowly worked our way up. Don't feel pressured to spend outside of your budget but when the time is right, be sure to check out the equipment we use as a point of reference for your own fishing. 

You do not need the top of the line rods and reels to catch more bass but it definitely makes the experience more fun!

The Story Of Matt's 12+ Lber From Shore!

Do you want to catch a 10 lb bass? Are you a bank fisherman who doesn't own a boat? We didn't always own bass boats either. There was a time when we were sneaking into ponds and creeks in search of anywhere we might catch a bass. Check out this story of Matt catching a bass that was 15+ lbs from the Shore of a local pond!!

Sorry we don't have the video to match but this fish lit the fire that led to the addiction that became Tactical Bassin! We know some anglers don't care for bedfishing and others don't but his was early on in Matt's fishing career and was the bass that inspired his addiction to trophy bass fishing!

What can you learn from this story? ANYONE can catch a giant bass if you put your time in. Whether or not you have a boat, whether or not you have the best gear, your time will come. Stick to it, keep fishing, and one day you're going to get your shot at the fish of a lifetime!

New Years Goals... What Are Yours?

Happy New Year!!! Its that time of year again, time to set goals so you can be a better bass fisherman in 2017. So what do you want? A teener largemouth? Your first smallmouth? Learn how to fish a jig? Whatever it is, we want to hear all about it! 

Our goals are lofty this year because we want to keep growing and developing as anglers. They're so lofty that "ridiculous" might be a better description but we're going to keep pushing the limits of the sport and see what happens!

-12 lb Spotted Bass
-15+ lb Largemouth Bass from Clear Lake
-7+ lb Smallmouth Bass
-Help at least one client catch a personal best 10+ lb Largmeouth Bass

Tim:
-12 lb Spotted Bass
-Catch another 13+ lb Largemouth
-Have another angler break a fishing record while fishing together
-Help at least 3 friends catch a new personal best
